Art work by a Syrian refugee child
In March 2016 Turtle House Art/Play Centre provided 3 sessions of art activities - Clay Making, Painting and Singing Arabic Songs to Syrian families who were Government Assisted Refugees from a hotel downtown in Toronto. A total of 111 people participated in the program. This included both parents, a few grandparents, and 71 children: infants, pre-school, school age, youth and young adults. Their length of time in Canada varied from 2 days to 2 months.
These are some of their art work.
